Wear a Helmet
This weekend my friend’s roommate crashed his brakeless fixie and went down on his helmetless head. The Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles put 65 stitches into his forehead alone. Another 20 or so went into his face. Wear a helmet. Brakes are a good idea, too. Don’t be a fashion victim.
Electric Bike Burnout Fail
My friend Jen went to the Dead Baby Downhill in Seattle last weekend and snapped this pic of someone attempting to do a burnout with an electric bike. I don’t think beer works as well as bleach. Lots more pics of tall bikes, hipsters and fire after the jump!
